At iPlaySeneca, we are committed to making your online ‘Play for Fun’ experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. With this in mind, we have compiled a list of the most common questions we are frequently asked about our online games. Please choose from the list below.

General

Q. Is iPlaySeneca a gambling site?
A. No. iPlaySeneca is a completely free – ‘play-for-fun’ online casino and poker site. You do not (and cannot) deposit money to play.

Q. How often can I play?
A. As much as you like! When you register, your iPlaySeneca account is credited with $1,000 in 'Fun Play'. And once you're an active iPlaySeneca player, you can go to the Cashier once per day to add an additional $1,000 in Fun Play to your balance.

Q. In addition to playing for fun, what else can I do at iPlaySeneca?
A. iPlaySeneca is a promotional site for Seneca Casinos (Seneca Gaming Corporation), which includes Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY, Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca, NY, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo, NY and Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston, NY. While the site is primarily designed for ‘play-for-fun’ leisure, there will also be the opportunity to win and claim prizes through game play and tournaments. You will be able to claim prizes when logged into your account, located in the Fun Play tab. There is no real money required to win or claim prizes at iPlaySeneca. Please note, though, that any prize/offer vouchers you wish to redeem must be picked up or used in person at the designated Seneca Casino property. Prizes at iPlaySeneca are NOT available at this time but will be introduced at a later date to be determined.

Q. Are employees of Seneca Gaming Corporation allowed to play on the site?
A. In some cases, we may allow employees to play on iPlaySeneca; however, employees are not permitted to win or accept prizes.

Q. How old do you have to be to play at iPlaySeneca?
A. You must be at least 21 years of age or older. In addition, to claim and redeem prizes you must be a member of the Seneca Players Club. Membership is free and you must be at least 21 years of age or older to join. Joining the Seneca Players Club can take place at the Promotions Booth at any Seneca Casinos property.

Software Installation

Q. What are the systems requirements to play at iPlaySeneca?
A. Systems requirements are:

  • Pentium 733 MHz or higher,
  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7,
  • 128 Mb free RAM,
  • 500 Mb free disk space,
  • 800x600 resolution,
  • 256 colours,
  • Suitable sound card driver,
  • 56 k Internet connection or greater,
  • Internet Explorer 4.0.

Q. Can I play on a Mac?
A. No, currently iPlaySeneca is only available for use on a Windows PC. However, we hope to introduce other platforms including Mac in a future release.

Q. Do I need to download software to play?
A. Yes, for a complete Casino experience, we offer a fully downloadable Casino suite with over 50 exciting games. You can download this free of charge by clicking on Download on the right!

Q. How long will it take to download the complete casino experience version?
A. With cable and ADSL connections the client download will take around 30-60 seconds. You will only need to download the software once; thereafter the program will be readily available to load up from your desktop. Once you log into the client the first time, only a few games are available for immediate game play. As additional games download they will become available for game play. Once all the games are downloaded, no additional downloads are required. The total time to download all game titles will vary based on connection speed.

Q. What do I do once I have downloaded the software?
A. Double click the icon of the downloaded program, SetupiPlaySenecaCasino.exe. The installation wizard will guide you through the entire installation process.

Account Information

Q. Do I need to create an account to play?
A. Yes, in order to play any games at iPlaySeneca you must first create a unique user account. We operate a single account system for all our platforms including casino, poker and instant games. If you do not yet have an account with us, click here to register and follow the simple registration procedures. PLEASE NOTE a confirmation email will be sent to your email inbox and you must click the link in order to activate your account.

If you already have an account registered simply login using your existing username and password.

Q. Why am I not receiving emails from iPlaySeneca with news, updates and special promotions?
A. The most common reason for not receiving emails is that your email program is classifying them as spam or junk mail. Consult your email program's help section and make sure that emails from iPlayPromotions@SenecaCasinos.com, iPlaySupport@SenecaCasinos.com and iPlayFeedback@SenecaCasinos.com are marked as safe. Or even better – many email clients allow you to set all emails from a certain domain as safe – if yours does, specify "SenecaCasinos.com" as a safe domain. If you continue to have problems, email iPlaySupport@SenecaCasinos.com from a different email address, provide your player name, email address and the email program you're using, and we'll send specific directions for that email program.

Q. Can I have more than one iPlaySeneca account?
A. No. In fact, doing so is a violation of our Terms of Use, and may result in suspension of your account.

Q. Can I play on someone else’s iPlaySeneca account?
A. No. In order to play at iPlaySeneca you must login every time using your unique username and password. If you do happen to play on someone else’s account this is cause for having your account suspended.

Q. What happens if I forgot my password?
A. Click here or click on the Forgot Password link which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. Follow the instructions to get a new password.

Q. Can I edit my Account Information?
A. Yes, when you are logged in to your account you can update your details by clicking the Edit Account button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. On the Account Details tab update the required fields and click the Save button.

Q. Can I change my Password?
A. Yes, when you are logged in to your account you can update your details by clicking the Edit Account button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. On the Edit Password tab enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password. To save the changes click the Save Password button.

Q. Can I view my Game/Play History?
A. Yes, when you are logged in to your account you can update your details by clicking the History button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. On the History tab you can view your Game Activity based on a user defined date range.

Fun Play

Q. Can I view my ‘Fun Play’ History?
A. Yes, when you are logged in to your account you can update your details by clicking the History button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. On the History tab you can view your ‘Fun Play’ Activity based on a user defined date range.

Q. Can I view my ‘Fun Play’ Balance?
A. Yes, when you are logged in to your account you can update your details by clicking the ‘Fun Play’ button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. On the ‘Fun Play’ tab you can view Current Balance, Available ‘Fun Play’ Bonus, Account Activity and Claim ‘Fun Play’ Prizes.

There is no real money required to win or claim prizes or offers at iPlaySeneca. Please note, though, that any prize/offer vouchers you wish to redeem must be picked up or used in person at the designated Seneca Casino property. Prizes and offers at iPlaySeneca are NOT available at this time but will be introduced at a later date to be determined.

Q. What happens when I run out of ‘Fun Play’?
A. When you sign up, your iPlaySeneca account is credited with $1,000 in 'Fun Play'. If your balance goes to zero, you can go to the Cashier daily to reload your balance with $1,000 in Fun Play. When you are logged in to your account you can add a 'Fun Play' Bonus by clicking the 'Fun Play' button which appears in the top right hand of the iPlaySeneca website. Check to see if you have any available 'Fun Play' Bonus to add. If so, click the Add button to transfer the 'Fun Play' Bonus to your account. When the 'Fun Play' Bonus has been transferred to your Current 'Fun Play' balance, you are ready to play.

Remember iPlaySeneca is a completely free – ‘play-for-fun’ online casino and poker site. You do not (and cannot) deposit money to play. ‘Fun Play’ cannot be exchanged for real money however at times you can exchange ‘Fun Play’ for and/or claim prizes or offers.

Game Play

Q. How do I begin to play?
A. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the software, click on the desktop icon to launch the application. When prompted login to your account using your username and password.

For Casino: Scroll over ‘All Games’, ‘New Games, ‘Favorite Games’ or ‘Jackpot Games’ located at the top of the application and select the game you wish to play.

ALL GAMES – Lists all available casino games by category.
NEW GAMES – Lists exciting new games recently added.
FAVORITE GAMES – Lists the five (5) games that you played most recently as well as the games you have selected as your favorites.

JACKPOT GAMES – Lists the game(s) that offer progressive jackpots. Games offering the largest jackpots are listed first.

For Help with game play and rules, click on the "?" when in game mode.

For Poker: Go to QUICK PLAY to select a Standard or Sit & Go game and click Play Now! Or click TABLES for more detailed game options and click Go To Table or Join Waiting List. Additional filters may be applied. Once in the game select the amount of Fun Play you would like to Buy-in for. Please note in order to play at iPlaySeneca Poker more than one person must be playing at the table.

Q. What happens if I lose my Internet connection?
A. Our system detects that you have been disconnected, and will make every attempt to allow you to reconnect. If you are in a tournament, some additional time is added to allow you to reconnect.
